My father continues to make fun of me for my black hair. Silly little man.

So I was talking with a friend last night about life and art (it's good to be around other artists, I love school) and I realized I don't do enough work for myself, and I have no good excuse for slacking so much. So I blew off some homework, and did this. It still needs a background, which I will sort out later, but I am rather pleased.

That is some lovely work. :) Even though it's 100% digital it has both a nice painted-look feel and some real textured effects--especially in the hair and on the lips. I also like the way you use the skin tone and lighting to create something stylised and realistic at one at the same time. I dunno if it *needs* a background honestly--it kinda works with the stark white, really. Excellent work, and well worth blowing homework off for I think. Well done!

the shape of your face is spectacular, and from what I have seen you really know how to style your hair to accent your face. nice work, and beautiful as always!
