And now for something out of left field. Created around the time Saving Private Ryan was released, and perhaps even more resonant these days...? From a photograph, soldier on the beach after the battle of Midway. Pencil on sketchbook paper.

Thank you very much! :thanks: I've been scribbling for AGES, have so many sketchbooks with so much drivel in them, it's hard to keep track. :laughing: I suppose I got more serious about the whole thing 4 years or so ago...

This "sketch" really gives emotions.. something rare even in many people 's complete artworks.. (hehe like mine :p )

I really wish i had that control over pencil!
