CHOW # 92 - The Miner's Daughter
www.ConceptArt.org The challenge was a Miner's Daughter, her three brothers were killed in the mines, the family has fallen on hard times, and now she needs to go out into the world and make her own way. She's not a miner, per se, but growing up around it, it's fair to say she knows her way around a pick axe (and a ginormous one at that) I decided to be a little different on this one and make her a MOON miner's daugter. You know, steam-punky alien goodness. Or something like that. Worked on this at FaerieCon International to keep myself busy, but ended up talking more than painting. Cause, you know... us Oyhenarts hate to talk.  One of my other ones (The Fairy is a Gangsta, yo) actually won the CHOW challenge last week, which means I am this week's host.
