So... Life has been INSANELY busy, I need to go through all of my notes and emails (I will, I SWEAR!!!) and finish up commissions, etc. Until then, a little something to mull over...
I got to host this one cause I won a couple weeks back (woo!) and I wanted to show my Yin & Yang as Chaos vs. Creation, one weaving the tapestry of the world on a loom made from the other, the other one consuming everything, etc... yadda yadda yadda. I just wanted to draw flowy things, let's be honest.
Also, I know, I switched them, I did it on purpose. Assuming women are weaker makes me annoyed, so she gets to be the dominant for once.

Amazing! By tomorrow this picture is going to be mad popular. Yin looks so cool and Yang is beautiful. I like the twist because Yin is usually portrayed as being feminine while Yang is suppose to be male.

Gorgeous! I love how the tree slowly becomes him, like life giving way to death. And the texture on her dress and the fabric on the loom is beautiful. This captured the cycle of creation/destruction wonderfully.

This is a beautiful pic
My only nitpick is that I think the genders are switched from the actual yin and yang concept, though I like it better this way, personally
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
